The mobile website includes all the content from the website and magazine but is optimized for mobile devices. The Senior Designer will help conceptualize and design for a wide array of projects alongside our creative team. Specific tasks will include concept prototyping, interface design and design production.

As a Senior Designer you will be directly involved in the project work from the initial discovery phase to delivery alongside all of our team members.

Role & Responsibilities
• A team player with a great can-do, positive attitude and self-motivated
• 4+ years of experience designing for well known client brands and institutions in a digital agency work environment
• Must be able to work in Columbus Ohio or willing to relocate
•  Highly detail-oriented and able to deliver pixel-perfect work
• Expert knowledge of interface design, user interaction, grid systems, branding, typography, color theory, iconography 
• Professional & effective under pressure and within tight deadlines 
• Ability to take feedback and refine work 
• A top notch portfolio demonstrating compelling user centered design solutions and a strong visual design sensibility

Pluses 
• A design or arts related degree

Concentric Studio is searching for an exceptional interactive designer to help create stunning, innovative and highly usable interactive experiences.

As an Interactive Designer, you will be primarily responsible for developing and/or extending the creative direction on a range of select client projects. A strong understanding and passion for typography, grid systems and usability is requisite for the job.

The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• 5-6+ years of prior experience assisting in the design of mid-to-large-scale, globally recognizable brands within an interactive agency OR relevant education
• Annoyingly pixel-perfect (Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented)
• Well versed on the latest with regard to new media and technology, typography, color theory, iconography, user interaction
• Expert knowledge in Photoshop & Illustrator
• Ability to take direction and follow established creative styles
• Professional & effective under pressure and within tight deadlines
• A *strong* portfolio to demonstrate past experiences. Portfolio must reflect a clean, fresh, user focused design style
• A design related degree

Huge Plus
• Base knowledge of HTML & CSS. A huge plus if you can build non-functioning front-end templates

Pluses
• Any other type of creative interests—photography, illustration, printmaking, letterpress, print design, brand development… etc…
